Who is OMC?

OMC was founded in 1997 by Dieter Ortleb and together with Claudia Cordt developed into a premium outplacement consulting company in Berlin. In 2016, Claudia Michalski took over the majority interest as well as management from Dieter Ortleb and since then has been managing the company together with Claudia Cordt.

OMC supports and advises managers and professionals in vocational reorientation - regardless of whether the change is chosen yourself or is involuntarily necessary due to termination. Digitisation in particular means that many companies are undergoing a massive process of change, and changes in personnel are required at all hierarchical levels as part of the necessary change management. With our own management experience and the multitude of our consulting mandates, we know the market requirements and advise you pragmatically and purposefully - on request unlimited up to the repositioning or founding your own start-up.

Especially in the middle of professional life, it is not unusual for many managers to want to free themselves from the hamster wheel and look for a new career that is more meaningful for them. The aim is to combine the high content requirements of a new job with what is actually feasible. "Leaving something" is often clearly defined, but the question of where to go is often unanswered. Here's where we can help - discreetly, sensitively, humorously, and thoroughly. With heart and mind.

Our mission is to support and assist managers in the challenging phase of vocational reorientation. The success of our candidates is our motivation: In the end, a common path is the new professional goal, the specific new position or a detailed plan to start a business.

This is what OMC stands for. And we also stand for this personally.
